• Welcome guests who approach the concession stand.

Must be able to work to tight tolerances. Able to use a wide variety of precision measuring equipment to inspect own work and validate drawing features for compliance. Deburr and clean parts as required for in-process and/or 1st Article Inspection.

Performs general and preventative maintenance on equipment, this includes cleaning, lubricating machines and cleaning and organizing the work areas.

This is a full time position and there will be a lot of overtime offered if needed. Being able to work on weekends will be a requirement. Training must be completed for the first two weeks in Culver city during the morning 6AM – 2:30 PM shift.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

The Inventory Clerk analyzes and coordinates the organization’s supply chain. They manage the entire life cycle of a product (i.e., acquisition, distribution, allocation, and delivery).

INVENTORY CLERK ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop business relationships with suppliers/vendors and customers.
  • Work to understand customers’ needs and how to meet them.
  • Direct the allocation of materials, supplies, and finished products.
  • Develop strategies to minimize the cost or time required to move goods.
  • Review the success of logistical functions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Present performance data to management.
  • Propose improvements to management and customers.
  • Stay current on advances in logistics technology and incorporate new technologies into procedures.
  • Lead a team of storage/warehousing personnel through the process of counting and recording inventory.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports directly to the Warehousing/Shipping Manager; works with procurement (purchasing), shipping & receiving, warehousing, and production staff to manage production inventory.

INVENTORY CLERK QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Work experience in logistics, inventory will be considered in lieu of Education in the field.
  • Need strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and do business with suppliers and customers. Critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills are a must. Project management experience is preferred; a PMP certification is helpful. Experience with supply chain software is needed. Bilingual in English & Spanish
