Packager (3rd Shift)

LOCATION:

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the guidance of the VP of Customer Service & Packaging Leader, the Packager is responsible for assembling containers and packaging parts for shipment, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to customer requirements. This role involves careful attention to detail, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work with various packaging materials in a structured environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble cardboard boxes, crates, or select returnable containers as needed for packaging.
  • Package parts accurately by part number, count, and any special instructions according to work orders.
  • Verify and record packaged parts inventory and deliver to finished goods warehouse.
  • Label and affix required identifying information to packages.
  • Organize packaged parts onto pallets, ensuring correct quantities.
  • Inspect materials, products, and containers at each packaging stage.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by adhering to 5S and safety standards.
  • Exercise authority to halt production in case of quality or machine issues, notifying the onsite supervisor.
  • Participate actively in safety training and meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Material Shipping Handler

YOUR ROLE:
As a Material Shipping Handler, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring shipments meet customer requirements, and assisting with general warehouse operations. This position requires a CDL Class A license to fill in as a backup truck driver when our regular driver is on vacation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Material Handling: Read daily pick lists or follow oral instructions to pull parts, stage freight, scan, wrap, and apply customer labels as required.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Verify and sign for deliveries, load and unload trucks, and move items to the appropriate storage or staging areas.
  • Inventory Control: Verify product and quantities, write movement tickets for incoming parts, and hand-shippers for outgoing products.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking CNC Machine Operators to join our team in machining, assembly, and heat treatment of powertrain, suspension, and brake parts for on- and off-highway automotive applications. Operators are responsible for setting up and running CNC machines while ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate multi-axis CNC equipment, including Horizontal & Vertical Machining Centers, Gear Hobbing Machines, and CNC Lathes with live tooling.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to perform machine setups.
  • Set up and run CNC programs, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures for each job.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and adjust machines as needed to meet specifications.
