PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Position is responsible for proper installation, maintenance,
and repair of plant equipment. Ensure efficient and proper utilization of equipment to
help maximize productivity.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for the proper direction/supervision of employees on his/her shift.
2. Responsible for keeping equipment in good working order.
3. Responsible for the safety and welfare of maintenance employees on his/her

4. Responsible for coordinating maintenance operations with other departments on

5. Must promote safety awareness throughout all plant facilities.

- Using job schedules to determine which jobs to stage and the order in which to stage them.
- Maintain inventory by completing cycle counts.

Join Fastemps as a Die Setter with Leadership Skills! We are seeking knowledgeable individuals in Pressroom Operations with mechanical inclination. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity starting immediately. As a Die Setter, you will play a crucial role in our success as a metal stamping powerhouse company with multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify that die maintenance is performed according to the die tag.
- Confirm that the Spectrum is set up correctly for each set-up.
- Follow die setting procedures for each press, ensuring set-up sheets are updated as needed.
- Maintain presses stocked with materials.
- Document piece counts at the end of each run, shift change, or job change.
- Observe visual and gauge quality of presses in the assigned area.
Qualities/Skills for Personal Growth:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Press Operation/Die Setter experience.
- Ability to lift to 30 lbs.
- Proficient with both hand and power tools.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Computer operating and programming skills.
