POSITION: Custodial Worker

LOCATION: University Main Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI

COMPENSATION: From $18.00 per hour

JOB TYPE: Full-time

SHIFTS: Varied hours based on department needs, including Monday to Friday and weekends as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Join the University Main Hospital in Ann Arbor as a Custodial Worker. In this vital role, you will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, ensuring readiness for new admissions.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, waiting rooms, restrooms, and dining areas.
  • Perform various custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
  • Adhere to strict cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Dispose of waste and medical materials in compliance with hospital regulations.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Respond to special cleaning requests and cooperate with hospital staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Clean criminal history.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening test.
  • Previous professional cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Positive and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Covid-19 vaccination and booster (if eligible).

POSITION: CNC Machinist

COMPENSATION: $22.00-$25.00
HOURS: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday (no overtime)

JOB SUMMARY:
CNC Machinist

CNC Mill or Lathe operator, The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of CNC Machining experience. Must be able to setup and adjust CNC mills and lathes, measure, examine and test completed parts in order to ensure conformance to specifications.

Have a strong working understanding of CNC “G Code” programming with the ability to make simple edits, have your own tools and read prints. This candidate must be quality oriented, and familiar with Haas, Mori Seiki and Fanuc controls

We would start them at 22-25$ per hr and if all goes well a raise and hire them in 90 days.
They would need their own machinist tools, be able to set up 2 axis lathe’s, g code programming or be able to alter some programs, Mill experience would be a plus, Need to be organized and keep area clean, be able to run multiple machines, be here everyday on time,

  • Ensure maximum levels of production by operating machinery with precision and skill.
  • Perform machining of parts and products based on drawings, specifications, and material requirements.
  • Operate and adjust semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform progressive machining operations.
  • Meet close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications, demonstrating considerable skill.
  • G-Code Programming on machines, including program alterations.
  • Set up Mori Seike 2 Axis Lathes.
  • Follow proper operating procedures and maintain accurate records in accordance with our plant management system.
  • Prioritize safety guidelines and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
  • Record production data to avoid costly errors.
  • Demonstrate positive relations and teamwork as per our company’s established values and leadership blueprint.
  • Provide assistance in training Machine Operators.
  • Recognize and resolve tooling wear problems.

Qualifications:

  • Must have your own machinist tools.
  • Basic math skills and blueprint reading skills; technical training preferred.
  • 3+ years of previous experience as an advanced Machine Operator on Lathes and Mills, or 1 year of advanced machine operator experience with formal education in Machining and programming.

Pay Rate: $18.00
Location: Ypsilanti, MI 48197
Shift days and times:
Monday to Friday starts at 12:00am, working up to 12 hours. Most arrive at 11:50pm to allow time to get into building.

POSITION: Steel Production Worker

LOCATION: Belleville, MI
COMPENSATION: $16.00

SWING SHIFT:

  • 5:00am-3:00pm and/or 3:00pm-1:00am.
  • MUST BE WILLING TO CHANGE SHIFTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
  • Shift changes may occur within a 5-day notice period.
